Markus Adenberger grew up in a beautiful valley in Austria, where he first became familiar with traditional Austrian music through the local wind band. After studying at the University of Arts in Graz with Wolfgang Klinser, he continued his studies in Vienna and took private lessons with Alexander Bader from Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Markus performs as a member of the Wiener Kammerorchester. He tours all over the world with Strauß Festival Orchestra, the Mörbisch Festival Orchestra and the orchestra of the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. He is a much sought-after pedagogue and soloist. Beginning in summer 2017, he is professor at the Global Summer Institute of Music at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond (US).
In April 2019 his first album together with pianist Maria Radutu, called “The GershWIEN Project”, was released.
